Design and innovation can be both serious and fun – so is deTour which is simply serious fun! The citys most anticipated local cultural occasion is returning to PMQ this year from 25 November to 4 December and is bigger than ever with an out-of-the-box range of showcases and programs to engage and excite.

The annual event runs concurrently with Business of Design Week (BODW), adding an extra educational and entertaining dimension. deTour 2016 transgresses the boundaries between art, design, technology and society, and welcomes young emerging local designers and renowned creative professionals alike. This festival pushes its programs to be even more inspiring, innovative and educational.

This app can push customized and contextual notifications to visitors based on their profile, app usage and their visit at deTour. Every time an app user comes close to a beacon - a white tiny device sending Bluetooth signals - he would receive a notification on his phone about what he is looking at or where he should go next. Beacons significantly contribute to enhancing the whole experience and overall satisfaction at deTour. We make sure that anyone will keep a wonderful and precious souvenir about deTour 2016.
